Board of Directors

Dorothy Carson

Secretary of the Board of Directors

“I have been with The GO Project for three years, and my current role is Secretary of the Board of Directors. Currently, I am a Project Manager at Sunnybrook Hospital and a mom to three GO Program grads and staff. I was previously a board member at Eglinton St. George’s Church for two years and chaired the Youth Ministry Working Group for seven years.”

Stephen Pike

Board Chair

My journey with The GO Project began simply: with a postcard on a church door at St. James United Church here in St. John’s. That small notice led to years of our youth group attending and hosting GO summer programs. I had a front-row seat to the incredible impact GO has on young people—and the profound effect they have on all of us. My own daughter’s journey from youth participant to GO staff deepened our family’s connection.
After years as a local volunteer and supporter, I was honoured to join the Board and now serve as Chair. The experience is incredibly rewarding. As we look to the future, we are strategically focused on welcoming new voices and diverse skills to our Board. I warmly invite you to consider what gifts you can bring to help guide this vital organization.

Lloyd Dunham

Treasurer

I have been involved with the GO Project since the Fall of 2022 and am currently in the role of Treasurer.  Now retired, I spent all of my forty-some working years involved in Information Systems leadership and/or Business Systems including leading a shared services organization and internal control systems development. I’ve also been involved, mostly on the financial side of things with United Churches in Richmond Hill and now Bracebridge where we live when not at our Haliburton cottage. Curling, community groups, traveling, and keeping up with our four kids and two grandchildren keep my wife and I busy and engaged.
