It’s Holy Week

We only have a few days left of our Lenten journey. This week, we’re hearing from some of GO’s first foundational leaders.

“Back when I was in my 20’s I spent a lot of time trying to figure out who I was, and where God was calling me. I was unhappy in my day job at a large insurance company but found so much joy in my volunteer work as a youth group leader at Islington United Church. In 2006 while helping lead a mission trip to the US with some youth from Islington, I witnessed the first seeds of the GO Project being planted. It was also during this time that I started to discern my own call to ministry. Over the last 12 years I have worked for, and with GO in a variety of volunteer and paid roles. Through this work I have met many amazing leaders and participants and witnessed the transformative power of The GO Project for them, and for me! I am incredibly grateful for the vision of GO, and the mission work of God’s church that continues to be lived out across Canada and beyond through its programs” – Rev. Sarah Grady ?@sgrades
